The third "Cultivating Kids" Garden Day was held on Thursday, June 14th under very sunny skies! We planted the last of the pots on the patio with flower and herb seeds. We also planted some pumpkins near the Three Sisters bed, Melons in the Cucurbit bed (see below) and pole beans and morning glory in the Teepee bed. We weeded and watered the planters and beds. Katie, our invaluable helper, strung colorful yarn between the stakes for our wax beans, nasturtium and sunflowers to grow up.
